In private practice since 1981, Errol served as the Managing Director of the FordBaker team from 1988 to 2011. A former Chairman of the Canterbury/Westland Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers, Errol holds a dual qualification, equipping him with expertise in all facets of urban and rural valuation. His specialist areas include compensation assessments, land with rezoning potential, supermarkets, chicken farms, quarries, and lifestyle properties. Errol brings considerable experience as an expert witness in court proceedings and litigation, and he is also an adept umpire and arbitrator. Outside of his professional commitments, Errol dedicates his time to working the land on his 32 ha rural property, often accompanied by his loyal dog. With a passion for sports, particularly rugby and cricket, Errol is known for his enthusiastic and forthright commentary, often providing spirited instructions to TV umpires and referees when not engrossed in valuation work.
