- After beginning his valuation career with the Valuation Department in 1975, David worked in the Christchurch, Dunedin, Whangarei and Timaru offices.
- In 1987, David began private practice in Christchurch and held managerial and directorship roles with both Fright Aubrey and Colliers.
- David joined FordBaker Valuation Ltd in May 2016.
- He has wide experience in valuation and consultancy for commercial, industrial, residential and development project property for the purposes of market, mortgage, rental, insurance and feasibility.
- He regularly acts as an arbitrator/umpire in valuation disputes.
- David also appears as an expert witness with the Land Valuation Tribunal and High Court.
